Job summary

Public Utilities Commission in San Francisco is seeking a Program & Project Supervisor to lead a multi-disciplinary team, plan audits, monitor budgets and milestones, and develop audit reports in accordance with auditing standards.

You will coordinate with utilities, CPUC decision-makers, and external parties, present findings to Commissioners, and guide complex policy analyses. This hybrid role requires two days per week at the headquarters and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising multi-disciplinary staff and directing complex audits.
• Ability to plan audits, monitor budgets and milestones, and produce reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and coordinate activities of a section with multi-disciplinary staff for designated utility programs.
• Plan and supervise work on complex technical assignments and monitor deliverables to meet deadlines.
• Facilitate development of solutions and methodologies for auditing utilities’ compliance and policy impacts.
• Routinely prepare written technical reports with research, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Develop and present findings on utility laws, rules, and policies to CPUC decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Represent the division by presenting ideas and coordinating studies, trainings, and meetings; engage in external conferences.
