Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, OR is seeking a senior Program/Project Manager to drive manufacturing-related initiatives from initiation to delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

The role requires leading complex programs, analyzing data for decision support, and delivering clear communications to leadership and stakeholders. Hybrid/onsite work models apply, with a focus on continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years; or PhD with 5 years; or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related experience in project or program management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.

The impact you’ll make

As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for all manufacturing-related activities at the Tualatin campus. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

What you’ll do

• Lead manufacturing-relatedprograms and projects to solve complex business problems.
• Build solutions that will improve manufacturing business processes and support critical business strategies.
• Provide actionable insights for management to influence decision-making through data collection and analysis.
• Develop and deliver clear and concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure execution, manage risks, assure adherence to program or project schedules, and performance to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the processes.
• Run change management for projects and programs and support proper project closure.

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience; or a PhD with 5years experience; or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related experience in project management or program management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.

Preferred qualifications

• Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
