Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Program Planning Scheduling Analyst (level 2) to join our Layton, UT team on-site daily. The role partners with Program Leadership to meet AS Business Management objectives and manage IMS, schedules, and earned value practices.

Security clearance (Secret) is required, with 10% travel and relocation assistance may be available. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, potential overtime, and a 9/80 schedule with competitive salary ranges and 401K

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or industry-related fields.
• Master's degree or 6 years of applicable work experience may substitute for a Bachelor's.
• Active Government Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives
• Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality
• Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
• Uses Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Program Planning Scheduling Analyst (level 2) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on-site daily in Layton, UT. The selected candidate will work closely with the Program Leadership to meet the goals and objectives of the AS Business Management organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience in program planning, scheduling, and/or industry-related fields OR Master's degree OR 6 years of applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must have an active Government Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP and MPM &/or COBRA
• Demonstrated experience in MS Project including, but not limited to, the development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices.

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
