OpenDor Media is hiring a Program & Partnerships Manager to support the continued growth and success of ConnectED, our newest educational initiative serving independent and public schools. ConnectED provides schools with resources and experiences that foster thoughtful engagement with the Israeli-Palestinian story, antisemitism, Jewish history, media literacy, and courageous conversations.

In this role, you’ll serve as the primary liaison for approximately 18 partner schools — building trusted relationships with administrators, facilitating high-impact programming, and ensuring an excellent experience from onboarding through implementation. You’ll play a key role in delivering value to our school partners, sustaining strong engagement, and contributing to the overall success of the program.

This is a full-time, remote position based in New York or northern New Jersey, with occasional in-person meetings with school leaders. This role reports to the ConnectED Program Director.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the lead relationship manager for approximately 18 schools.
  • Meet regularly with school leaders to understand needs, offer strategic support, and identify opportunities for meaningful engagement.
  • Coordinate onboarding, professional development sessions, school programs, and ongoing follow-up.
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and communication for webinars, meetings, and in-person or virtual events.
  • Represent ConnectED at school programs (virtually or in-person) and with public school leaders, ensuring smooth execution and strong engagement across school types.
  • Facilitate community-building through webinars and the ConnectED educator platform, promoting peer learning and dialogue among participating schools.
  • Attend conferences and events, strengthening relationships with educators and school leaders while representing ConnectED.

Requirements:

  • Relationship Management Experience: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinker with Strong Execution: Skilled at balancing big-picture planning with detail-oriented program delivery.
  • Excellent Communication & Facilitation Skills: Clear, persuasive communicator with experience leading meetings and discussions.
  • Data & Process Management: Comfortable tracking engagement and managing records in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: Proficient with digital tools and quick to learn new platforms and systems.
  • Passion for Education & Mission Alignment: Deep commitment to supporting schools on complex topics including Jewish history, antisemitism, and the Israeli-Palestinian story.
  • Collaborative & Proactive Approach: Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Independent Schools: Experience in K–12 education or working with schools is a plus.
