Job summary

Job description

The VISTA member will be assigned projects that will allow the Nebraska City Area Development Corporation (NCAEDC) to provide services and program deliverables which will improve community outreach and enhance the mission of the organization which is “to promote the attraction, creation, retention, and expansion of businesses and to enhance our quality of life in Nebraska City”. NCAEDC strives to support programming and resources for diverse businesses and events to assist with community engagement, to encourage small business start-ups presenting business opportunities for rural Nebraska communities. The Member will be assigned projects tasks that align with skill sets and program goals. Team conversations and review will determine the VISTA members program priority for data gathering, research, marketing, special events and projects. This will assist the NCAEDC in providing services and program deliverables which will improve the organization and its community partners ability to increase recruiting new businesses, provide training to increase skills, and increase small business growth for the area and community while increasing program participation The VISTA member will be responsible for conducting research to streamline program services in preparation for program manual revisions and developing in-house efficiencies impacting outreach services. As a result, the VISTA member will have resources and research data available to revise program manuals, streamline archive materials, catalog potential development partners, and other needs to enhance program deliverables.
