Job description

This position is accountable for identifying and implementing the necessary strategies and tactics to achieve the goals of the program, including program operations and communication, program analysis and insights, and evaluation and evolution of program features and experiences to enhance client experience and business outcomes. This may include development and management of the program budget, program evaluation, and administration, supporting and monitoring end-to-end supply chain and fulfillment, identifying, and implementing program improvements, building processes for and being responsive to needs as they arise, and other responsibilities as assigned. This position also is responsible for supporting new program and feature development including designing processes and project plans to support new initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements and oversees day-to-day execution of the program. Pays attention to the details, manages key processes, makes sure all moving parts are working together and happening at the right times and places for program to be executed as seamlessly as possible for all key program customers and stakeholders.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements continuous improvement and enhancements for the program, its customers, and stakeholders by proactively identifying opportunities to improve participant experience, improve program results, reduce cost, or improve turn-around time.
  • Defines and documents requirements for proposed changes and enhancements to program features, processes and systems in order to enhance efficiencies and outcomes, using data, outcomes, and process analysis to support recommendations and solutions.
  • Provides day-to-day program and project management to program initiatives, operations and strategies, including project planning, budget process management and execution, etc. Environment is fast-paced, quick-changing and sometimes ambiguous. Individuals in this role must be willing to be accountable and transparent regarding productivity and demonstrate excellence in project delivery, execution, and handoffs.
  • Owns the implementation of key program operations management tasks which may include management of the program budget, including reviewing program expenses, updating year end forecasts, reporting and analysis on key operational performance metrics, overseeing and administering invoicing and vendor management processes, leading program initiatives or projects, gathering and evaluating feedback and data from program participants and stakeholders, responding to questions from program partners, vendors, or customers. Identifies patterns of questions and support needs, using that to proactively put plans in place to address recurring needs efficiently; identifying opportunities to solve common problems, enhance processes and share best practices.
  • Acts as the communication liaison for internal program partners. Ensures streamlined implementation of program improvements or changes from the supply chain through customer interaction. Manages program internal email inbox, responding to requests and questions across the organization, including our distribution partners in the field.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement through 360 analysis which can include quantitative and qualitative analysis of outcomes, qualitative review from multiple end-user and stakeholder perspectives, journey mapping and experience data. Is able to effectively identify themes and synthesize information to create recommendations for changes, additions, or sunsetting to enhance outcomes.
  • Identifies and implements change management efforts; serves as chair or facilitator for different project teams and departments, event management liaison in supporting grass roots administration of the program. Including education, training, and communication.
  • Demonstrates comfort and willingness to take on new work that is prioritized by the program team, acting as a utility player that can manage and collaborate on program marketing and distribution efforts which may include communication, training, marketing and change management efforts, maintenance and updating of marketing collateral and other specialty items in inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Required:

  • 3 to 5 years in program operations or related experience.
  • College degree or equivalent in experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continual learning.
  • Demonstrates strong project management and collaboration skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills including ability to learn new systems quickly and high level of experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Applies a continuous improvement mindset that uses creativity, critical thinking skills, and analysis to develop new, more effective and efficient processes and approaches to achieving outcomes.
  • Some travel required (10%)

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $72,505.00 - $98,097.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
