Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Operations Manager to serve as the critical interface between Operations and the Integrated Program Leadership Team, ensuring alignment on priorities and delivery for sustainment contracts at the Forest CMC Factory.

You will lead cross-functional coordination, manage schedule and cost performance, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in factory processes, while supporting urgent manufacturing needs and ensuring compliance with security requirements.

Qualifications

  • University degree or advanced degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years)
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations or a related technical field
  • Sustainment/depot operations experience in a factory environment preferred
  • Earned Value Manager certification preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced technical or manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between factory operations and the program leadership team to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables
  • Communicate schedule and cost performance for Operations deliverables, ensuring contractual requirements are met

The Program Operations Manager serves as the critical interface between Operations and the Integrated Program Leadership Team, ensuring seamless communication and execution of program objectives. This role is pivotal in supporting sustainment contract activities within the Forest CMC Factory and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve cost, schedule, and performance goals.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, or a related technical field.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with sustainment or depot operations in a factory environment.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes specific to the Forest factory.
  • Earned Value Manager certification.
  • Experience in a fast-paced technical or manufacturing environment

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
