Job summary

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of administrative experience.
  • Education beyond high school may count toward experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with Japanese society and language preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations under the Faculty Director and administrative leadership.
  • Prepare background memoranda and literature reviews, collect and analyze data, produce graphs and other visuals, and assist with presentations.
  • Coordinate speakers and participants, manage event logistics, and support successful program execution for seminars and conferences.
  • Serve as the primary contact for visitors and inquiries; assist with office operations and IT liaison duties; support website and social media communications.
  • Overtime may be required as needed.
