Job summary

The University of Chicago's Center for Translational Data Science (CTDS) invites applications for a Program Operations Analyst. Reporting to the co-Principal Investigator, you will help plan roadmaps, coordinate multi-team efforts, and communicate progress to partners, while gaining exposure to software lifecycle, cancer genomics, and data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in a related discipline.
• Experience with software development teams and release processes.
• Experience coordinating projects, events, or programs.
• Experience communicating with customers, users, or partners.
• Exposure to biology, genetics, or cancer biology.

Responsibilities

• Support team planning for roadmaps and priorities, identifying dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate meetings and collaborations, track decisions and actions.
• Participate in data and software release processes and communicate status.
• Assist with project documentation and reporting on activities and risks.
• Help prepare proposals and program materials with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for external inquiries and updates.
• Gain familiarity with the software development lifecycle and cancer genomics.
• Coordinate events, logistics, and post-event write ups.
• Assist with researching funding opportunities and drafting materials.
• Support other administrative projects as needed.
