Job description

Position Overview

The Program Officer II will be a member of the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Caribbean team within FHI 360's Regional Office (WAMERO). The role involves supporting bilateral projects across these regions, requiring experience with USAID projects/contracts and fluency in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical assistance and support to programs.
  2. Collect, analyze, and compile relevant program information.
  3. Support program management, including administrative tasks and communication efforts.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulations and monitor budgets.
  5. Develop and review work plans, prepare presentations, and support program objectives and deliverables.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong program and project management skills.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to prepare reports and provide timely information to management.

Education and Experience

Technology and Travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and standard office equipment.
  • Travel requirement: 10-25%.
