Job summary

The JPB Foundation in New York, NY seeks a Program Officer to lead grants for the Democracy portfolio under the Poverty Program. You will work with the Senior Program Officer to manage grantee relationships and ensure alignment with our mission to advance opportunity and justice.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The JPB Foundation (JPB) seeks nominations and applications for the position of Program Officer, Democracy. This is a new role for an existing and expanding grantmaking portfolio. The Program Officer will work with the direction of the Senior Program Officer in managing grants and grantee relationships for the Poverty Program’s Democracy portfolio.

COMPENSATION

$130,000 - $145,000

While this position will be based in New York, NY, please note that due to COVID-19, all JPB staff are currently working remotely. JPB anticipates being able to reopen their office in accordance with health and safety guidelines mid-April 2022 at which time the position is expected to work out of the NY office on a hybrid schedule, beginning with a minimum of one day/week in the office, up to a maximum of three days/week in the office through the end of 2022. JPB has approached our return to work conservatively and is focused on protecting the health and safety of our employees.
