Job description

We are seeking a full-time Program Officer who will be an integral part of our team, playing a vital role in the foundation’s grantmaking work. As a newly crafted position, you will have the opportunity to shape the role and bring your unique strengths to three primary areas of responsibility: grantmaking, family engagement, and external communications.

The role will include a wide range of tasks, large and small. Attention to detail, a high degree of self-motivation, and the ability to creatively solve problems are necessary to work with our highly collaborative, fun, and mission-focused team. Experience in philanthropy is required for this position, and we are seeking candidates who are committed to improving the philanthropic sector, being a generalist grantmaker, compassionate accountability, and who can see even the smallest tasks as part of the overall impact and success of the Stranahan Foundation.
