Job summary

Cazenovia Recovery Systems, Inc. is seeking a diligent program monitor to oversee residents and ensure safety during assigned shifts. You will respond to immediate issues, conduct screenings as needed, and document activities in the agency database.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalency and a valid NYS driver’s license. You will participate in program activities, trainings, and committees, applying trauma-informed principles while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory

Responsibilities

• Responds to immediate social or housekeeping issues as they arise.
• Provides breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed.
• Responds to crises and emergencies.
• Inputs data into the agency database as requested by supervisor.
• Attends and participates in all program activities and trainings.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with regulations (42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Medicaid/HUD).
• Integrates Trauma-Informed Care principles in all duties and interactions.

• Monitors the program and its residents while ensuring resident safety during assigned hours.
• Responds to all immediate social or housekeeping issues as they arise.
• Provides breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed.
• Responds to crises and emergencies.
• Inputs data into the agency database as requested by supervisor.
• Attends and participates in all individual program and agency activities as required by supervisor.
• Attends and participates in all job-related workshops and in-services trainings.
• Responds in a professional and responsible manner to incidents involving contagious diseases (i.e., HIV, Hepatitis B, TB, etc.).
• Serves on agency committees as requested.
• Assists in the implementation of the agency's policies and procedures.
• Carries out additional duties essential to the above-stated responsibilities as assigned.
• Is mindful of and integrates Trauma-Informed Care and its five principles in all duties and interactions with fellow staff, residents, and external partners.
• Maintains compliance with all required rules and regulations including Federal Confidentiality (42 CFR, Part 2), HIPAA, Medicaid and/or HUD, and any others.
