Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to provide coordination and care for patients in an inpatient setting. The role includes program development, business strategy, personnel management, admissions, psychosocial assessments, and therapy across individual, group, and family modalities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling, or Social Services related field required; licensure preferred.
  • Experience with psychiatric mental health population; inpatient setting preferred.
  • TN LCSW, LPC, LP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and care for patients per hospital philosophy and objectives.
  • Develop programs, business strategy, and personnel management activities.
  • Handle admissions, psychosocial assessments, and individual/group/family therapy.
  • Participate in treatment team planning, discharge planning, and case management.
  • Liaise with referral sources and hospital departments; conduct utilization review and crisis intervention.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Program Manager provides coordination and care of patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health. The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for program development, business strategy and development, personnel management activities, admissions, psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, discharge planning/case management service, utilization review, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including, adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling, or Social Services related field required, licensure preferred.

Experience: Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.

Licensure/Certification: TN LCSW, LPC, LP preferred.

Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of management, supervision, patient case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.

Supervision Received: Program Director, Director of Social Services

Supervision Exercised: Therapist
