Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. in Augusta, Georgia recruits a Program Manager to lead all phases of new product development from initiation through launch.

You will collaborate across engineering, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and marketing, manage budgets and schedules, and report progress to executives using a stage-gate framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in program management or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of new product development projects to meet stakeholder objectives at an accelerated pace including program initiation, planning, execution, and implementation.
• Collaboratively work to clearly define the project scope; develop the project plan to include the budget, schedule, and resource needs.
• Drive timely completion of all project team tasks to include engineering design and testing, supply chain management, quality and manufacturing, customer care, marketing, etc.
• Create and maintain reports to monitor and control all project tasks while considering risk assessments, performance to targets, budgets and program schedule.
• Report out project status to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner to communicate progress toward expected targets.
• Use defined stage gate process to guide all project activities and milestone signoffs.
• Leverage program management best practices and continuously improve processes to achieve better planning, visibility, performance, and effectiveness.
