The salary range for this role is between $56,600 and $84,900, depending on experience, skills, and organizational needs.

Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a steward for WGU’s mission and strategic vision.
  2. Demonstrate high commitment to student success through goal setting, outcomes, and documentation.
  3. Provide direct support, coaching, and guidance to assigned students.
  4. Maintain expertise in WGU programs through ongoing development.
  5. Foster student learning with innovative teaching and coaching practices.
  6. Respond promptly to student needs, communicating professionally and respectfully.
  7. Maintain a flexible, student-friendly schedule, including outside hours.
  8. Monitor student progress and proactively support students needing assistance.
  9. Utilize technology platforms to support student progress.
  10. Collaborate with university professionals to promote a positive, student-centered environment.
  11. Exhibit WGU Leadership Principles consistently.
  12. Stay informed within the assigned college area.
  13. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented.
  • Technological competency in data entry, email, calendar, and database programs.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication abilities.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Masters or higher degree with relevant licenses/certifications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in student support, mentoring, coaching, or instruction.
  • Experience working with diverse learner profiles.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with distance education students.
  • Coaching certification (e.g., ICF ACC/PCC/MCC).
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting for extended periods at a desk, working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Primarily remote work within the continental US, with travel as needed.
Working Conditions:

Travel up to 25% as required.
