Job summary

Perkins seeks a Program Medication Nurse at the Watertown Campus to provide nursing care, perform health assessments, and collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner and physician to monitor student health.

The role includes supervising medication administration, coordinating care with residential staff, and supporting emergency response efforts. Requires MA RN license and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and valid RN license.
• At least two years of experience with children with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Medication order review.
• Overseas medication administration.
• Assistance with Electronic Medication Administration.
• Medication administration for evening shift.
• Triaging health-related concerns.
• Liaison between cottages and program nurses.
• Participation in the student emergency response team.
