Job summary

i3 is seeking a Program Manager to lead design and development programs while guiding engineering efforts for the intelligence community. The PM will primarily operate in the Washington, DC metro area and oversee projects spanning cost, schedule, and performance.

The role requires strong leadership, customer relationship skills, and the ability to manage complex programs. A DoD TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; additional education may substitute.
  • 8+ years of relevant program management experience.
  • Experience with the Intelligence Community and DoD customers preferred.
  • Experience leading AI/ML projects.
  • Strong client relationships and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

  • Responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on requirements and standards; oversee project management and technical teams, interfacing with Corporate Executives and DoD customers.
  • Align programs with strategic goals; drive growth, development, and execution activities.
  • Own development life cycle for environments and manage complex projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with customers and engineers to map out strategy and roadmaps for new capabilities.
  • Make staffing decisions and manage skill mix and assessments.
  • Establish best practices and ensure designs meet requirements; deliver high-quality services.
  • Advocate i3 culture and core values within the team.
  • Organize planning and implementation of contract support activities; pursue business development with current or new customers.

Overview We're seeking a Program Manager to support design and development programs while leading engineering efforts for the intelligence community. The PM's activities will be conducted primarily in the Washington, DC metro area. Pay Range $146,000 - $239,000 The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, geographic location, and any applicable laws. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on respective requirements and standards. Directly oversee project management, managing of technical teams, and interfacing/briefing Corporate Executives and DoD customers.
  • Align with strategic goals and objectives of the Portfolio. Responsible for growth, development, and nurturing of people, programs, capabilities, and execution activities
  • Responsible for the overall development life cycle for the environment and the ability to manage complex projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Work with customers, senior officials, and engineers to develop a strategy and road map that provides compelling and value-add innovations and new capabilities.
  • Responsible for all staffing decisions, skill mix, and assessments.
  • Instill best practices, ensure designs meet requirements, and responsible for delivering high-quality services.
  • Be an advocate within the team for maintaining the i3 culture and embodying i3 core values.
  • Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies, purposes, and goals to the organization.
  • Organize, direct and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities.
  • Be responsible for the business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.
  • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Prefer experience working within the Intelligence Community.
  • Prefer experience working AI/ML Projects.
  • Hands-on technical expertise preferred.
  • Solid background of leading projects and teams.
  • Strong business and technical vision.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills to include the ability to uncover true requirements, recommend alternative solutions and approaches, and lead engineering efforts that meet aggressive timelines.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with independent and team problem solving.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Excellent with Oral and Written Communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs that include multiple subcontractors, material vendors, and demanding customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage costs on a multimillion-dollar design and development program to include estimates at complete (EAC) and other cost accounting methods.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
