Job summary

The Program Manager – Utility Services at Maverick Corporation leads electrical and utility infrastructure projects from planning through closeout at our Boston, MA headquarters. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, reporting, safety, quality, invoicing, and contract compliance, coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires 3+ years in construction or utility project management, strong communication, and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent field experience considered.
• 3+ years in construction, utility, or field services.
• 3+ years in project/program management.
• Knowledge of utility inspection and field service procedures.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical & utility infrastructure projects including inspections, repairs, audits, and field services.
• Support program development with SOPs, training materials, and procedures.
• Maintain strong client relationships while managing contracts, budgets, schedules, and vendors.
• Track financial performance: revenue, labor, materials, invoicing, receivables, margins.
• Lead cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and within scope.
• Coordinate engineering support, permitting, client meetings, and closeout documentation.
• Ensure safety, compliance with policies, OSHA standards, and utility procedures.
• Prepare internal and client reports on production, schedule, budget, quality, and issues.
• Ensure timely invoicing and monitor receivables.
