Job summary

Maverick Corporation in Boston, MA is hiring a Utility Laborer for a full-time, on-site role. You will support trades on construction projects, perform digging, move materials, and assist with utility line installations in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
• Must be fluent in English and able to lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up work areas, preparing materials, and cleaning up job sites.
• Dig trenches and excavate areas using shovels, picks, and digging tools.
• Assist skilled tradespeople with installing pipes, cables and other utility lines.
• Signal equipment operators to help align and move machinery safely.
• Operate hand and power tools and follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Keep the site clean and organized and help maintain equipment.
