Job summary

DigiKey Electronics is seeking a Program Manager in the United States to lead the full delivery lifecycle of strategic transformation initiatives within the Transformation Office. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and realized business outcomes across ERP/OMS environments.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in program management, strong experience with large-scale enterprise transformations, and a solid background in both Agile and traditional PM

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
• 7+ years in program or project management.
• Experience managing multiple interconnected projects or workstreams.
• Proven success in large-scale enterprise-wide transformation programs, preferably in OMS or ERP environments.

Position Overview

The Program Manager will lead and be accountable for the full program delivery lifecycle of strategic transformation initiatives—including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, decisions, implementation readiness, and realized business outcomes within the Transformation Office. This role is responsible for managing multiple high-visibility programs that drive operational excellence, process efficiency, and business value across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong program management expertise with experience in large-scale system implementations and organizational change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transformation Programs: Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation related programs, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Integrated program planning: Develop and maintain the program roadmap, milestones, critical path, dependencies, and integrated delivery plan across multiple workstreams.
• ROI Measurement: Assess strategic impacts and benefits of initiatives within the program and track and report on costs and benefits achieved.
• Manage relationships: Collaborate with business units, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration, quality delivery of project components and adoption of solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and communicate program status, risks dependencies and resolutions to executive leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Change Management: Ensure a comprehensive change management strategy is established, with a clear, actionable plan that can be executed, monitored, and tracked through implementation and adoption.
• Governance & Reporting: Establish program governance frameworks, track KPIs, and provide regular updates to the Transformation Office and leadership teams.
• Resource and capacity planning: Partner with functional leaders to secure resources, address capacity constraints, and clarify workstream ownership and accountability.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the evolution of program management best practices within the organization.
• Vendor performance management: Manage vendor commitments, deliverables, risks, performance, and contractual dependencies where applicable.
• Mentorship: Support and mentor project managers within the Transformation Office to build organizational capability.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred PMP or PgMP certification preferred.

Experience: 7+ years in program or project management Experience managing multiple interconnected projects or workstreams Proven track record managing large-scale enterprise wide transformation programs, preferably in OMS or ERP environments. Demonstrated success carrying a transformation from strategy and design through implementation, stabilization, and benefits realization. Strong background in both Agile and traditional project management methodologies. Demonstrated success in change management and stakeholder engagement. Experience with platforms such as Oracle, Manhattan, or Salesforce OMS Skills:

• Excellent planning, organizational, and facilitation skills.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with project management tools and technologies.

Preferred Attributes: Experience in supply chain, order fulfillment, or related domains. Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive consensus. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

Physical Requirements

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is: $115,000 to $160,000 Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate’s work experience in related roles; the candidate’s knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.
