Job description

The Program Manager – Temperature Control Products will travel locally and globally to meet with customers and work in conjunction with our Delta teams around the world.He/she will learn what it takes to move critical temperature controlled shipments around the world and have a direct impact to continue to improve and elevate Delta Cargo’s products.

The Program Manager – Temperature Control Products will be responsible for developing revenue of Temperature Control Products (Pharma & Fresh). Responsible as the liaison between the Product team, Sales leaders, Cargo Operations, Airport Operations (ACS), Revenue Management, Marketing, third party handlers and sellers (GSSAs, GHAs) and the Customer Service Center for the implementation and management of updated and accurate product content on the DeltaNet, deltacargo.com, marketing functions, internal/external and standard operation procedures (SOP).

Identify, solicit, acquire and support new Pharma & Fresh opportunities.The Program Manager will manage the Pharma Desk and drive the customer experience as it pertains to Delta’s Variation Pharma & Fresh products He/she will support Pharma and Fresh audits, certifications, and temperature excursion research.He/she will also complete Quality Agreements with the customers and provide audits to ensure compliance and continue to ensure CEIV compliance.This will include CAPA Management, ensuring appropriate turnaround time and that business takeaways/mitigations from those CAPAs are outlined and applied.

Work on ad hoc projects and be willing to take on other duties as the team continues to grow and evolve. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operation processes and procedures.

Primary functions include:

• Developing revenue of Temperature Control Products (Pharma & Fresh)
• Implementation and management of updated and accurate product content on the DeltaNet, deltacargo.com
• Support Pharma and Fresh audits, certifications, and temperature excursion research to support ongoing CEIV certification
• Drive Pharma Desk knowledge and training to ensure customer success
• Ensure risk management and customer growth by managing current and new customer Quality Agreements
• Ensure service recovery including CAPA Management, turnaround time and business takeaways/mitigations from those CAPAs
• Serves as a liaison between Product, Sales Development, Revenue Management Alliance Partners and other needed departments to ensure key revenue opportunities are realized
• Work cross divisionally with ACS Operations teams to optimize customer satisfaction
• Colaborate with the Product Team to ensure the Pharma and Fresh products are best positioned in the market to ensure revenue and share success
• Contributes analytical expertise, business knowledge and ideas to various ad hoc projects
• Maintains high-level industry knowledge and evaluates OAL competitive programs and practices in order to ensure Delta's competitive position is well-established
