Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions seeks a Program Manager for Sustainable Building Solutions to lead data systems, reporting, and certifications across commercial buildings.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Marketing to advance sustainability initiatives while maintaining content and delivering actionable insights. Travel 11–30% and work remotely within the Contiguous US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or related industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
• Sustainability program management experience preferred.
• Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools and other project management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve systems for sustainability data collection and reporting.
• Leverage Excel and Salesforce to track inquiries, analyze trends, and deliver executive reports.
• Create and manage active sustainability project lists across territories and stakeholders.
• Maintain sustainability content and resources with Marketing.
• Lead third‑party certifications, declarations, and reporting programs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, Innovation, and Quality to advance sustainability initiatives.
• Support development of sustainability-focused marketing and training materials.
• Represent ASSA ABLOY at industry events to promote sustainability initiatives.
• Stay informed of regulations and standards through industry groups.

What you will be doing:

As a vital member ofourteam, you will contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance and define ASSA ABLOY's sustainable products and solutions offering. Your work will helpASSA ABLOYmaintain aposition of market leadershipwhile accelerating growth and expanding opportunities within the commercial and institutional building markets.

Key areas you will contribute to the role include:

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve systems and processes for collecting, managing, and reporting sustainability data and documentation. Leverage tools such as Excel and Salesforce to track customer sustainability inquiries, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights and executive-level reporting.
• Buildandupholdalist of active ASSA ABLOY specified projectswhere sustainabilityis a primary attributeof the owner / end user / architect.Prioritizeand communicatethe project list to the respective DSS territoryPrincipal, TSM,Sustainability Champion,etc.
• Serve as the steward of sustainability information resources, maintaining websites, online toolkits, databases, and customer-facing content in collaboration with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Lead the administration of third-party sustainability certifications, declarations, and reporting programs, including coordination of product certifications, manufacturing site audits, compliance documentation, and certification renewals.
• Partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, Innovation, and Quality teams to advance sustainability initiatives, improve environmental performance, and support the development of sustainable products and solutions.
• Act as a sustainability resource for Sales, Marketing, and customers by providing technical support, sustainability documentation, environmental certifications, and guidance on green building standards and customer requirements.
• Support the development of sustainability-focused marketing, training, and educational materials that communicate the environmental benefits, certifications, and value propositions of ASSA ABLOY's sustainable opening solutions.
• Contribute to internal and external communications, including sustainability campaigns, case studies, customer success stories, thought leadership content, public relations activities, andsustainability reporting efforts that reinforce the company's environmental commitments and achievements.
• Engage with specification teams to champion sustainable solutions and secure their inclusion in project specifications.
• As needed: representASSA ABLOY at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, webinars, and training sessions to promote sustainability initiatives, support customer engagement, and strengthen industry relationships.
• Participate in and contribute to relevant organizations, industry councils, green building associations, and professional networks to stay informed of emerging regulations, market trends, certification programs, and best practices.
• Monitor evolving sustainability regulations, reporting frameworks, and green building standards, translating changes into actionable recommendations that support business objectives and customer needs.

Education and/or experience:

• Your background includes a Bachelor’s degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: business, computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar), or have work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or a similar industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Sustainability-related program management experience preferred.
• Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools and other industry-related software for program management and activity reporting preferred.

ASSA ABLOY offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including bonus, a 401(k) plan, education assistance, and an environment that reflects our commitment to our employees. The wage range for this role is $125K - $135K and considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business requirements, geographic location and other business and organizational needs. This salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
