Job summary

University of Washington is seeking a Program Manager for Prevention, Health & Wellness to coordinate student-centered health education and prevention efforts. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience in health education, health promotion, prevention, or student affairs.
  • Experience planning and implementing programs; supervising students or early-career staff; ability to collaborate across units; commitment to equity, inclusion, accessibility, and culturally responsive practice.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning, implementation, and development of the peer health educator program.
  • Develop annual goals, work plans, calendars, and timelines.
  • Coordinate peer health educator initiatives across health education topics.
  • Apply equity-centered, accessible, and culturally responsive practices.
  • Monitor program quality, risks, and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Stay current with literature and guidance in college health education and prevention.
  • Manage logistics including contracts, purchasing, room reservations, and budgeting.
