Job summary

University of Rochester seeks a program lead to oversee academic opportunity projects supporting underrepresented students and community partners. You will counsel students, coordinate referrals to support services, and help evaluate curriculum effectiveness and program goals.

The role requires a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience and preferred supervisory experience, with strong commitment to access to higher education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience; Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with curricular design and assessment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads academic opportunity projects within the College and Regional and/or Nationally supported projects, targeting underrepresented and/or underprivileged students/others in the community.
• Provides project oversight, including counseling, referrals and information on the support services available to address the special needs of the program or project.
• May evaluate effectiveness of curriculum and effectiveness of program in meeting goals.
