Job summary

Ascension is seeking a program manager for Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX. The role sits within the Simulation and Training department and follows a Monday–Friday 8:00a–5:00p schedule.

You will lead assigned programs to align with business objectives, develop goals and infrastructure, manage cross-functional teams, and monitor budgets while delivering quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience, or 7 years of applicable experience.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned program(s) to meet business objectives.
  • Develop program goals and infrastructure aligned with business strategy.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams and allocate resources to goals.
  • Create program plans, management tools and reporting capabilities.
  • Monitor budgets and adjust plans as needed.
  • Document and communicate program quality outcomes and progress metrics.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

Manage assigned program(s) to meet business objectives.



  • Develop program goals and infrastructure to align with defined business strategy.

  • Manage program through creating program plans, management tools and reporting capabilities.

  • Lead cross-functional teams and ensure resources are assigned to meet program goals.

  • Recommend program budget and monitor and adjust plan as resource requirements change.

  • Communicate and document program quality outcomes and progress metrics.

  • Address and resolve project issues to ensure goals remain on track.


What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:



  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
