Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Program Manager/Scrum Lead in the Irving/Fort Worth area for a 6+ month contract to hire. The candidate will coach teams in Professional Scrum, promote transparency, and drive agile practices across multiple teams. A strong background in scaled agile frameworks and distributed teams is expected.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 9+ years of relevant work experience in an agile environment.
• Experience coaching agile methodologies to team and stakeholders.
• Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency.
• Proven ability to promote a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the flow of value from generation of ideas to release.
• Coach your team(s) to create high-value items, while eliminating or reducing rework, waste in the process, etc
• Promote transparency on barriers to change, progress, and remove or seek assistance in addressing impediments and opportunities
• Enable your team(s) to practice Professional Scrum and other frameworks/techniques that drive agility
• Cultivate a habit of continuous learning (from prior increments, retrospectives, etc.), continuous experimentation, and continuous improvement to reach a high-performing state
• Coach teams to self-organize and facilitate events, as necessary
• Coach Product Owners/Managers with techniques for establishing empirical product planning and maintaining a healthy Product Backlog
• Maintain, share, and promote information radiators that enable inspection and adaptation

• Coach teams to self-organize and facilitate events, as necessary

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 9+ years of relevant work experience in an agile environment
• Experience coaching agile methodologies to team and stakeholders
• Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
• Proven ability to promote a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

• 9+ years of relevant work experience in an agile environment
• Experience with driving adoption of Agile methodologies, processes and tools in a cross-functional organization
• Superior analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with continuous integration/delivery
• Participation in scaled agile framework
• Strong Program Management experience leading large-scale software delivery programs.
• Deep SAFe Agile experience including PI Planning, dependency management, and Agile delivery practices.
• Mobile application delivery experience supporting iOS and/or Android development teams.
• Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
• SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, PMP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, Confluence, and Aha!.
• Experience leading distributed global teams.
• Experience working with offshore development teams.
• Airline, travel, or customer-facing digital product experience.
• Technical background in software engineering or architecture.
