Job summary

Nexamp is looking for a Program Manager, Planning & Scheduling in Boston, MA. You will oversee the project lifecycle for solar initiatives, managing schedules, budgets, and team performance. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of construction management experience, preferably in renewables, and strong proficiency with project management tools like P6 Primavera and Procore. The position offers a hybrid work environment and a competitive compensation package including salary ranges from $150,000 - $170,000.

Program Manager, Planning & Scheduling

What we’re looking for:

Nexamp is looking to hire a Program Manager, Planning & Scheduling. You will be responsible for maintaining integrity of project schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency and visibility across the company.

We are accepting candidates across our hub offices of Boston, MA, Austin, TX, and Chicago, IL where you will be hybrid. You will report to the Director, Pre-Deployment.

What you’ll do:
  • Ma nage project schedules for the full lifecycle of a project fromDevelopmentto Final Completion on distributed generation (DG), commercial & industrial (C&I) and Utility Scale solar portfolio.
  • Manage and communicate portfolio progress against schedule, budget, and key metrics to Clean Energy Deployment (CED) leadership and stakeholders.
  • Hire, coach, and manage Schedulers and Senior Schedulers, setting expectations and driving performance and growth.
  • Integrate individual project schedules into a cohesive master schedule, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts and dependencies.
  • Ensure schedule templates, workflows (e.g., Procore), and data across platforms are standardized, accurate , and aligned with SOPs and KPIs.
  • Perform critical path analysis, identify risks, and provide reports and recommendations to optimize timelines and improve delivery outcomes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and process gaps and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve scheduling practices, processes, and execution.
  • Other tasks as needed by leadership team.
What you’ll bring:
  • 7 +years ofrelevant experience across project execution and data optimization inconstruction management.
  • Prior experience in a renewables industry is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of various areas of construction (civil construction, electrical construction, utility construction).
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Extensiveknowledge of P6 Primavera.
  • Knowledge ofProcore,Sigma , P6 interface or equivalent scheduling and construction management tools.
  • P revious experience engaging and inspiring teams to excel while focusing on the growth and well-being of team members .

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.

  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.

Compensation

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Nexamp ranges from $150,000 - $170,000. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual bonus programs based on individual and company performance, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans). Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in the Company’s stock option plan. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but is not limited to, skills and qualifications, internal equity, performance, and geographic location.
