A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Program Manager (RN) for Maternal Services to develop and lead nursing initiatives at their Los Alamos location. The role involves ensuring high-quality patient care and overseeing various perinatal strategies while aligning with the organization's goals for operational excellence and compliance.
POSITION SUMMARY: Develops and leads nursing maternal/perinatal initiatives for the CHRISTUS location. The Program Manager works in conjunction with the Maternal Medical Director to oversee perinatal practice in the facility. The Program Manager also collaborates with regional clinical leaders (through the Regional Advisory Council - RAC) to develop and implement clinical strategies, policies, and practices across the Region, aligning them with the CHRISTUS Health System guided by High-Reliability Principles. The goal is to achieve nursing standardization, evidence-based practices, operational excellence, and optimal patient care. The role involves establishing strategies for service line initiatives, education, competency, physician collaboration, outcomes, and resource utilization to enhance service line growth, efficiency, compliance, safety, and patient experience.
Requirements
Skills:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in perinatal nursing required. Experience leading unit/facility initiatives preferred.
Supervision:
Responsible to: Chief Nursing Executive
