Job summary

Providence Saint Johns Health Center seeks a Radiation Oncology Systems Program Manager to deliver ongoing technical and application support for Radiation Oncology systems and workflows. You will analyze issues, maintain integrated information systems, and coordinate staff input for department projects within budget and schedule.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy with 2 years of experience; preferred are a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with Oncology IT

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy with 2 years of industry experience.
• 3 years of Project Management experience preferred.
• 2 years of Radiation Oncology EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous technical and application support/analysis for Radiation Oncology systems, workflows, and processes across Providence departments.
• Implement and maintain integrated information systems to support Radiation Oncology practice and decision-making.
• Provide project management support within budget and timelines, coordinating staff input and education.
• Analyze issues and deliver timely resolutions for complex applications and workflows.

Job description

The Radiation Oncology Systems Program Manager provides continuous technical and application support/analysis for various Radiation Oncology systems, workflows, and processes for moderately complex applications for the various regional Radiation Oncology departments throughout the Providence system. This position analyzes and provides resolutions to application issues.

This position is accountable for the implementation and maintenance of integrated information systems that will support Radiation Oncology practice and decision-making, as well as department/facility projects to support quality patient care. This position provides project management support to the department within an established budget. The Program Manager is accountable for identification, facilitation, and coordination of Radiation Oncology staff input and education related to these projects and systems. Project management accountability includes adherence to timelines within established budgets to ensure successful outcomes.

Required qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy; with 2 years of industry experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent education/experience or 3 years of Oncology experience in combination with 3 years of applicable IT experience.
• 3 years of Project Management experience.
• 2 years of Radiation Oncology electronic medical record experience.
