JOB TITLE: Program Manager, Production Event Incident Management Process
LOCATION: Foster City, CA
PAY RANGE: $63.00 - $73.51/hr
DURATION: 6 months

  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client has embarked on a highly ambitious journey to develop a full-stack autonomous mobility solution for our cities. An important part of this is our Production Event Incident Management System. This role is focused on running the Production Event process.

In this role, you will:
  • Collect both internal and external Production Events due for a review following SLAs as required.
  • Reach out to Production event owners and schedule them for review
  • Set expectations with the Production event authors
  • Share the template
  • Remind to schedule for Office Hours
  • What to expect during the review
  • Run the Production event review meetings
  • Share the doc/agenda ahead and follow up on all action items.
  • Maintain a complete and up to date list of current *** Service Production events that can affect the next service version.
  • Oversee that Production events are correctly and timely closed and follow up on any long pending Production events that remain open.
  • Gather feedback and iterate and improve the process as needed
  • Report on Production events in appropriate forums.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong track record of managing cross-functional projects
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Proven track record managing high-severity incidents and service outages
  • Experience in a DevOps/ Site Reliability Engineering-driven environment
  • Background in engineering
