  • Measures the effectiveness of current-state processes, systems, etc. as well as benefits gained through implemented enhancements.
  • Identifies issues, root causes, strategies for improvement and development of implementation and sustainment plans.
  • Develops a summary of findings, recommendations, and action plans for management to review and approve.
  • Effectively applies various continuous improvement tools and operating discipline to drive assigned initiatives to positive outcomes.

  • Develops and maintains tools, applications, and systems critical to the process improvement initiatives.
  • Develops tools and leverages technology to share relevant information with all stakeholders so business units can learn from process defects, reduce likelihood of future reoccurrence, and improve the mindset of personnel involved in the process.
  • Develops action plans and processes, in coordination with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, for integrating activities and optimizing department resources to meet major goals and objectives.
Technical Knowledge/Skill
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Expertise and working knowledge of process improvement methods, internal controls implementation, change management leadership, and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented; demonstrated ability to independently scope, plan, organize, and drive process improvement initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to learn about and integrate new processes and technologies while, when applicable, breaking old paradigms and barriers.
  • Strong process elicitation and interviewing skills, with the ability to gather, synthesize, and translate information from subject matter experts into structured business process documentation.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills (including written, oral, and public speaking) required, with demonstrated ability to develop structured workshop agendas and lead cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts through process analysis and future-state design.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze current-state processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and facilitate the development of future-state processes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels of authority.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and curiosity for learning and implementing new tools and technology.
