Job Description: Program Manager at Stryker

We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to oversee multiple projects related to the development of a clinical knee application. The role involves ensuring R&D projects are completed on time, within budget, and supporting innovative medical device products from inception to launch within Stryker’s Digital Robotics and Enabling Technologies division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Unit leadership to define and align project scope with strategic goals, ensuring clear ownership across functions.
  • Create and manage detailed program schedules, analyze critical paths, and proactively address timeline risks.
  • Develop and oversee budgets, ensuring cost control and variance tracking.
  • Mentor project teams on project management best practices, including planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Implement quality and risk management plans to ensure product and process excellence.
  • Manage procurement strategies, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate resource allocation, define roles, and support team development.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement and communication plans to ensure alignment and transparency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years of experience in medical device product development, including project strategy, budget management, stakeholder engagement, and product launches.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP certification or equivalent.
