Our client, a leader in the global nuclear energy industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager for Global Industrial Safety. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining safety programs across the company's extensive network of facilities worldwide. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring rigorous compliance with global safety standards and providing strategic leadership in industrial safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain global industrial safety management systems, including policy, standards, and procedures aimed at achieving zero safety incidents.
  • Oversee global industrial safety compliance programs, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Lead project management for corporate industrial safety continuous improvement programs.
  • Facilitate global sharing of industrial safety incidents to promote learning and prevent recurrence.
  • Stay current with global regulatory compliance requirements and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Develop safety programs related to the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Formulate and implement the industrial safety strategy.
  • Develop and maintain internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for industrial safety, including both leading and lagging indicators.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Perform and coordinate industrial safety due diligence assessments, particularly in relation to mergers and acquisitions, and support the integration of M&A into the company's industrial safety program.

Who You Are:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in industrial safety or related sciences.
  • Have at least 10 years of experience in site-level industrial safety program implementation.
  • Hold CSP Certification.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of global industrial safety regulations.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills for identifying and mitigating industrial safety risks.
  • Possess competencies in decision-making, action orientation, innovation cultivation, trust building, planning and alignment, accountability, effective communication, managing ambiguity, and collaboration.
