About the Role

The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing cross-team and cross-department activities in support of a product development program. This person will be well versed in the processes and procedures used to manage a collection of projects and will be key in the facilitation of those efforts. This role is expected to have the background necessary to operate at the individual project level but will operate primarily at the program level. The individual must possess the ability to operate with a strategic perspective, ensuring programs are prioritizing projects and their associated resources in a manner consistent with business priorities.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience, with a strong preference for experience in the software and medical industries — or an advanced degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Experience with regulated SaaS products and/or software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) preferred.
• Track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget.
• Meeting Leadership: Leads meetings, sets action items, and holds owners accountable for follow-through.
• Program Planning: Skilled at building detailed plans for software development projects, identifying relevant items, dependencies, and risks even with limited input.
• Communication: Very good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate technical topics and issues at a high level.
• Organization & Prioritization: Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with a high level of attention to detail.
