This position connects network development, contracting, provider operations, analytics, and technology teams to keep programs aligned and moving forward.
You will manage integrated workplans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams.
The role provides high visibility through executive reporting, leadership updates, and governance support.
You will translate complex program information into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and decisions for senior stakeholders.
The position also offers an opportunity to leverage AI-enabled tools to improve planning, reporting, risk management, and collaboration.
This is a fully remote opportunity suited to an experienced program leader who thrives in complex healthcare environments and drives execution through influence and accountability.

Accountabilities:
  • Establish and maintain integrated program workplans covering provider network initiatives such as network expansion, contracting, onboarding, and provider lifecycle optimization.
  • Facilitate recurring program cadences, including weekly status meetings, risk reviews, leadership updates, and governance sessions.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and commitments while driving accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized risk and issue management framework, proactively identifying blockers, interdependencies, and mitigation actions.
  • Ensure risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies are clearly communicated to the appropriate stakeholders and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Prepare concise, executive-ready weekly summaries covering progress against plan, key risks, mitigation strategies, upcoming milestones, and decisions required.
  • Synthesize complex program information into actionable insights for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Build and maintain standardized templates, reporting tools, and processes to promote consistency and transparency across initiatives.
  • Support executive leadership presentations and updates for senior management and governance forums.
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison between Network Development & Contracting, Provider Operations, Data & Analytics, IT, and system configuration teams.
  • Ensure alignment between enterprise-level strategy and market-level execution, creating clarity around roles, responsibilities, handoffs, and ownership.
  • Lead large, cross-functional project teams involving 20+ core members and multiple external vendors.
  • Manage complex, multimillion-dollar programs while maintaining focus on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Promote and utilize AI-enabled tools to improve project planning, execution, reporting, risk management, stakeholder communications, and decision-making.
  • Apply structured project and program management methodologies to drive timely execution and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other related duties and support strategic initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field required; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.

  • Strong experience in the healthcare payer industry, with knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification or training required; PgMP certification preferred.
  • Deep understanding of project management processes, methodologies, tools, and development lifecycles, ideally including Agile approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multimillion-dollar programs involving large cross-functional teams and multiple vendors.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with project and program management software.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, stakeholder-management, and active-listening skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, gain consensus, and establish effective approaches to complex challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing workstreams and deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to stakeholder expectations.
  • A strong sense of urgency, accountability, customer service orientation, and commitment to execution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, collaborative, and continuously evolving environment.

Benefits:
