Description

The North America Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) Strategy team is the central arm for the NA RME field as it pertains to organizational, business, provider, and talent strategy programs. Our team partners with business leaders such as Sr Managers, Directors, and key stakeholders (ER, PxT, TA, Compensation, Central RME, and Finance) to drive programmatic improvement in labor costs, business readiness, and organizational goals.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Lead programs focused on organization design, alignment, and pathway management.
  2. Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable programs.
  3. Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set program priorities, establish milestones, and drive delivery for leadership development programs.
  4. Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating as appropriate.
  5. Influence design and development of programs starting with the voice of the customer and working backwards.
  6. Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.
  7. Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for Talent Architecture & Pathway programs, providing visibility to key milestones, and performance of programs using this data to drive business decisions.
  8. Own and deliver program communication and accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions.
  9. Apply process improvement methodologies to improve existing programs and partner with the Talent Architecture & Pathways (TAP) Sr Manager in establishing new programs to support the RME global organization.

Basic Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  2. 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  3. Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
  4. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  5. Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  2. 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  3. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  4. Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
