Bay Area Community Resources is seeking a full-time HR leader to support the California Climate Action Corps program. This role involves supervising fellows, developing HR policies, and addressing team dynamics within a mission-driven environment focused on climate initiatives. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and knowledge of California HR law are essential for success in this impactful position.
About California Climate Action Corps (CCAC):
California Climate Action Corps (CCAC), a state service program led by California Volunteers, Office of the Governor and implemented by Bay Area Community Resources (BACR), mobilizes emerging leaders to take direct climate action in communities across California. With over 400 fellows and 100+ host partners, CCAC supports impactful service projects focused on urban greening, organic waste and edible food recovery, wildfire resiliency, and climate education and volunteer engagement. The program is rooted in service, equity, and sustainability.
Location: Remote (California-based preferred)
Reports to: Program Director, California Climate Action Corps
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary: $91,300–$96,300 annually (DOE)
Start Date: Open until filled
