We are a full-service agency, flawlessly producing best-in-class branded experiences for our clients.

Our healthcare client is looking for a Freelance Program Manager - Virtual Events with immediate availability and experience in live events to join their team! This position is remote but applicants must be willing to work east coast business hours. This role will be up to 40hrs/week with travel 35-40% of the time and occasional evening/weekend work for events. The role pays $45/hr with the opportunity for a permanent full-time position.

Our client develops and produces compelling live events across multiple therapeutic areas using a variety of tailored formats. The applicant should be a highly organized individual with the ability to prioritize and excel in a deadline-driven environment. The applicant should also have excellent problem-solving skills, critical-thinking, conflict resolution and be adept at internalizing and distilling issues and providing real-time guidance to team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining project timelines and workflow through focused attention to detail
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, and develop a deep understanding of each team's skills and responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Account Manager to understand new business opportunities and develop tasks in a project management tool
  • Schedule and conduct meetings as necessary for each project, and provide ongoing updates to internal stakeholders as required
  • Use internal web-based project management tools to ensure development processes are followed
  • Responsible for ongoing reporting related to expense reconciliations, and post-event reporting (outcomes, registration, and overall project performance)
  • Baseline understanding of software and technology

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Minimum three years of project management experience required; within the healthcare environment or medical education environment strongly preferred
  • Experience in an external client-facing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge in virtual and streaming platforms is a plus
  • High professionalism, ability to work independently, and easy rapport in building collaborative work relationships
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills and possess an eye for details
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high pressure environment
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, and grammar skills
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet clients’ business needs, if needed
  • Domestic travel required, international travel is a possibility
  • Has own laptop and access to a reliable internet connection

As this is a freelance, contract position, please note that benefits are not included.
