Description
The Program Manager Medical Assistant Program reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Program Manager has the responsibility and accountability for securing and maintaining accreditation for the School. Responsibilities encompass defining course objectives, instructing students in academic coursework, laboratory practice, and clinical application. The position will also be responsible for evaluating student and preceptor experiences and ensuring students are able to achieve competency. The Program Manager must demonstrate effectiveness in instruction, curriculum design, program planning, evaluation, and counseling. This position facilitates the operational activities related to quality patient care and overall program function.
Responsibilities:
This is a highly visible position that includes daily contact with the interdisciplinary clinical team and community partners. It requires a mature, self-motivated individual who needs minimal supervision. Excellent time management skills will be used daily to meet critical deadlines. Excellent communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills are required to enable this incumbent to collaborate with all levels of NM and NM Academy personnel.
