Job Summary:

The Program Manager, Market Development- Construction is responsible for planning and executing construction projects for new centers in emerging markets. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing all construction phases from design to operational turnover. The role requires collaboration with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction management background, leadership skills, and adaptability to dynamic project requirements. The Program Manager will report to the Senior Director, Market Development.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee planning, design, and construction of new centers, managing the entire construction process.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners to ensure project completion within established timelines.
  • Supervise center setup activities and coordinate handoff to Operations.
  • Participate in capital expenditure planning and budget tracking.
  • Monitor project scope and critical paths, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with senior leadership to adjust schedules.
  • Lead weekly project status meetings with stakeholders to update progress, address issues, and discuss mitigation strategies.
  • Assist with exterior signage and marketing-related activities.
  • This position may require 75-80% travel.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience managing large-scale retail real estate projects.
  • Facilitation skills to manage stakeholders and ensure decision-making.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, assessing, and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years healthcare experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years construction project management experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Experience scaling retail franchises nationally is a plus.
