Qualifications

• BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Process Engineering, or similar Life Science/Engineering degree.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is mandatory; Black Belt preferred.
• Experience: 5–10 years as a process engineer in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with pharma manufacturing, packaging, testing equipment.
• Knowledge of generic pharma operations including solid, liquid, semi-solid, nasal spray.
• Project management tools experience; PMP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement global process improvement program and culture of continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyze data using statistical tools and methods on key products and processes.
• Lead/facilitate root cause analysis (problem-solving) using lean principles.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Material Management, Engineering, and site leaders to establish KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities through lean Six Sigma to improve product robustness.
• Drive Lean principles to impact KPIs and mentor employees.
• Diagnose workflow impediments and eliminate wastes in manufacturing/testing.
• Implement Best Practices for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Perform value stream mapping, risk assessment, and FMEA; develop risk mitigation.
• Form cross-functional teams to execute GTO initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders on GTO initiatives.
• Plan project timelines and milestones; track progress and budget.
• Organize cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
• Reconcile budget items against scopes of work.
