Technique, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional manufacturing programs at our Jackson, Michigan facility.

You will drive programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, timelines, quality standards, and financial objectives. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business and brings 5+ years of PM experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, short-lead-time environment.
  • PM tools and reporting systems proficiency.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, stamping, welding, or precision manufacturing preferred.
  • Aerospace/defense manufacturing experience preferred.
  • PMP/Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Full-time, on-site position with regular interaction with shop floor operations.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program execution from quote handoff through production and delivery.
  • Develop and manage program plans, schedules, milestones, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales.
  • Serve as primary customer contact for program status, risks, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, develop mitigation plans, and elevate issues as needed.
  • Facilitate regular program reviews and internal status meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to customer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Maintain detailed program documentation (timelines, change requests, post-program reviews).

Job description

Technique is looking for a Program Manager to join our team at our Jackson, Michigan facility. As a Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional manufacturing programs from initiation through delivery. You will ensure programs meet customer requirements, timelines, quality standards, and financial objectives while serving as the primary point of coordination across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field and brings 5+ years of program or project management experience in a manufacturing or technical environment. Experience in metal fabrication, stamping, welding, or precision manufacturing is strongly preferred, as is aerospace and defense manufacturing experience. PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Requirements
