As a Program Manager - Intellectual Property Digital Services, you will lead IT projects focused on the technical development and maintenance of our IP management platform and data services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, data services, and digital technologies, with a proven track record of managing complex technical projects. This role reports to the Director, Global Data Services, and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and improve our IP management processes and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying, planning, and managing IP organization IT programs and projects, overseeing the technical development and maintenance of the IP management platform and data services, ensuring seamless cloud integration.
  2. Leading IT program management efforts by shaping user stories that incorporate data-driven and AI approaches, and preparing project management templates, decision documents, reports, and risk assessments using tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, and Monday.
  3. Managing programs and projects across international teams in the US, China, India, and Europe, coordinating stakeholders and collaborating with teams, departments, and external providers.
  4. Developing strategies to maximize platform adoption and digital tool usage, including training, support, and feedback systems.
  5. Staying informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in legal or intellectual property sectors, with knowledge of technical development, data management, and digital transformation.
  • Experience in managing complex projects, preferably with certifications such as PMI-ACP, PgMP, GPM, or PRINCE2.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken German; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.
