Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in supply or demand planning within supply chain management (e.g., forecasting, supplier management, inventory management, capacity management).
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Certification in Supply Chain (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP).
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in materials management within a high-volume, global hardware, or cloud infrastructure environment.
  • Sheets/spreadsheet, SQL and scripting experience.
  • Advanced technical skills for dashboard automation, including experience designing and deploying business intelligence dashboards using tools.

The Infrastructure Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations Group (ISM) aims to establish Google as the undisputed leader in AI/ML infrastructure by building the highest performance, most cost-effective, and most reliable AI/ML infrastructure on the planet. The team has end to end accountability for ingesting demand signals from the product area and then outputting TPU, GPU, Compute, Storage and machines. We are responsible for supplier technology evaluation and selection, strategic investments, sourcing negotiations and commercial agreements, supply operations and assurance, silicon quality assurance and Global Manufacturing operations.
As a Supply Chain Program Manager, you will drive the operational excellence and strategic planning for material flow supporting Google's critical technical infrastructure supply chain. You will be instrumental in ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time to meet complex, global production demands. This role requires a blend of supply and demand tracking, deep analytical excellence, and process optimization through dashboard automation.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:
  • Track supply delivery schedules, identifying and mitigating supply risks (e.g., component shortages, lead time changes).
  • Create supply/demand models with what-if scenario analysis capabilities for our technical infrastructure server and intra-DC networking component deliveries.
  • Drive key processes to align material supply with demand forecasts at a component level.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines and interactive dashboards (e.g., in dashboards or similar BI tools) to provide real-time, actionable insights into material availability, consumption rates, and risk exposure.
  • Utilize advanced analytics (SQL, Python) to model supply scenarios, analyze cost-to-serve, and identify opportunities for optimization.
