Job summary

Google Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Program Manager II, Infrastructure for Google Cloud. This role drives cross-functional, multi-site remediation programs and processes, coordinating with Engineering, Data Center Operations, and vendors to deliver on time and within scope.

You will manage complex projects spanning multiple sites and time zones, planning requirements, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications to keep teams aligned and progress transparent.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex remediation projects across the data center portfolio from concept to handoff.
  • Establish program roadmaps and master schedules, identifying interdependencies between power and cooling workstreams.
  • Own project resource allocation and workflow prioritization across multiple sites to ensure execution.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data Center Operations, and external vendors to deliver projects within scope.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, forecasts, and risk assessments to executives.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience managing programs and processes across distributed systems.
  • Experience in driving the remediation programs.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Deep domain expertise in data center electrical/mechanical infrastructure (e.g., switchyards, transformers, HV/MV distribution, cooling towers, chillers, gensets).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, manage multiple concurrent projects, and lead global, cross-functional teams.
  • Highly adaptable who thrives in ambiguous environments and excels at creating scalable process order to drive results.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically or internationally to work with sites or equipment suppliers.
