Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager II for Big Data, Analytics, and Cloud Networking. You will lead cross-functional, multi-office projects, plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate progress to partners across time zones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working with reporting platforms.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, data science, data analytics, or SQL.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in an operations environment, supporting or managing a telecommunications or data networking business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Ingest data from source systems and build the core team-specific tables.
  • Build data pipelines, and support immediate business requests and partner with other Program Managers on strategic insights.
  • Set up foundational ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines, manage the heavy lifting of the initial dashboard migration, and ensure pipeline stability.
  • Support development of our business intelligence framework enabling effective measurement of project performance against critical path, with insights for cost and quality.
  • Build out business justification for strategic continuous improvement projects based on trends and analysis from business intelligence framework.
