Job summary

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is seeking a Program Manager I to direct the State Mitigation Planning Program and advise leadership on resolutions and implementations. The role involves coordinating with local, state, and federal partners, reviewing policy and regulations, and guiding the development of the State Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The position requires directing planning activities, creating management reports, and working within the Recovery Directorate

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall administration of the State Mitigation Planning Program and make recommendations for resolution and implementations to the Resiliency Branch Chief and SHMO.
• Review federal and state policy and regulatory requirements and propose strategies for meeting them.
• Develop work plans, staffing patterns and direct the development and implementation of the State Hazard Mitigation Plan with various partners.
