EchoStar seeks a strategic finance leader to drive cross-functional initiatives that integrate operational systems and optimize resource allocation. You will partner with executive leadership and technology groups to mitigate financial risks, improve governance, and accelerate reporting via AI analytics.

This role requires 3–5 years of managing complex cross-functional projects, strong communication with senior stakeholders, and hands-on experience in governance and analytics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing cross-functional business or operational projects.
• At least 3 years of experience with cross-functional project management, operational systems integration, and AI-enabled reporting.

This role drives strategic finance initiatives to resolve critical workflow gaps and integrate operational systems across the organization. The position leads cross-departmental alignment with executive leadership, technology groups, and key business units to optimize resource allocation and mitigate financial risks. Additionally, the role leverages AI analytics and automated tracking tools to enhance reporting efficiency and streamline root-cause problem solving.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

• Direct strategic finance initiatives across operational systems integrations to resolve identified workflow gaps and achieve key team OKRs
• Partner with executive leadership, technology groups, and business units to align project scope, resolve cross-departmental dependencies, and prioritize resources
• Eliminate financial and operational risks through the implementation of structured governance, escalation protocols, and milestone tracking frameworks
• Coach finance and operational project teams on documentation standards, business requirements gathering, risk mitigation, and executive reporting cadences
• Leverage AI productivity and analytics tools to streamline initiative tracking, automate recurring status reporting, and accelerate root-cause problem solving
• Coordinate project deliverables and support variable operational schedules as needed to maintain implementation timelines

Core Skills, Competencies, and Key Experiences (What you’ll bring)

• Critical experience facilitating technical meetings, managing cross-functional initiatives, and delivering complex operational system integrations
• Strong collaboration and communication proficiencies to present strategic options, facilitate consensus, and influence executive leadership
• Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking capability to navigate changing priorities, identify operational issues, and mitigate financial exposure
• Expertise in structured project governance, workstream prioritization, risk tracking, and comprehensive requirements documentation
• Applied AI skills to automate administrative workflows, synthesize cross-system status data, and enhance project reporting efficiency

Additional Qualifications:

• Direct professional background or demonstrable interest in corporate finance

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional business or operational projects
• Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 3 years of experience with:
  • Cross-functional business or operational project management
  • Operational systems integration and workflow gap resolution
  • AI productivity and analytics tools for workflow automation and project reporting

Salary Range

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
