Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Brookhaven, GA is seeking a Program/Project Manager to provide direction and oversee department programs that meet the needs of patients, families, and the community served. You will partner with department leaders to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks; lead a team; mentor staff; and drive continuous improvement while delivering high-quality outcomes.

This role requires strong communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field.
  • 1 year of experience coordinating small programs.
  • 1 year of experience in a professional working environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, manages, and executes project scope, schedule, resources, and change management initiatives.
  • Communicates and documents project plan, status updates, business goals, and governance plan to team and stakeholders effectively.
  • Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with specialists both inside and outside the organization with assigned tasks to deliver subject matter expert activities.
  • Ensures project deliverables are on time, high quality, and on budget.
  • Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading a team including: interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, recognizing, and rewarding employees.
  • Mentor team members to encourage personal and professional growth.
  • Encourage ongoing skill development by providing opportunities for continued education.

Job Description
